Before Your Appointment
Setting your hair up for success
Please come to your appointment with inspiration images — or better yet, send them through prior.
This allows us to:
Understand your vision clearly
Offer realistic guidance
Prepare for your service appropriately
Clean Hair = Better Results
Think of your hair like a paint canvas.
You wouldn’t paint on something oily or dirty — and hair is no different.
For best results
Hair should be clean and dry
Avoid heavy oils, dry shampoo, or styling residue
Wash your hair the night before or morning of your appointment
Clarify Before Colour
We recommend using a clarifying shampoo for your last wash before a colour appointment.
This removes product build-up, minerals, and residue, allowing colour to perform evenly and predictably.
Avoid Plex or Bonding Products
Please avoid plex or bonding systems for one week prior to your colour appointment.
These products can affect how colour absorbs and develops, and we want the cleanest canvas possible for your service.
Confirm Your Appointment
Please ensure your appointment is confirmed and your deposit is secured prior to arrival.
This allows us to reserve the appropriate time, products, and expertise for your booking.
After Your Appointment
Protecting your hair investment
Hair Needs a Regime — Just Like Skin
You wouldn’t invest in great skin without a skincare routine — and your hair is no different.
Professional results require professional aftercare.
Personalised Aftercare Advice
After your appointment, we’ll guide you on:
The right products for your hair and colour
Correct tools and equipment
Suitable brushes
Styling techniques to protect your hair
These recommendations are designed to maintain your result, not overwhelm you.
What to Expect Post-Appointment
In the days and weeks following your service:
Your hair may respond differently as it settles
Colour tone and condition stabilise with correct care
Consistent home care extends the life of your service
This is completely normal — and we’ll guide you through it.
The Takeaway
When your hair is prepared correctly and cared for afterward, the results are better, last longer, and stay healthier over time.
We’re here to guide you — every step of the way

Over the years — through competitions, photo shoots, editorial work, and ongoing education — it’s been my friends and clients who have continually put their hands up, trusted the process, and supported the journey.
I’m forever grateful to each of you.
