Success is meaningful — but significance is lasting.

Whether it’s raising funds, supporting families, or mentoring apprentices, giving back has always been part of how I do business.

This salon is built on community — and it will always give back to the community that supports it.

Dementia Fundraising

Dementia is a cause deeply personal to my heart. My Mum, my biggest supporter being diagnosed at the age of 68.

Through our in salon Book Sale and the generosity of our incredible clients, we have raised over $10,000 in the past three years to support dementia awareness and care.

What began as a small idea  a simple readers nook in the salon  has become something powerful. Clients donating. Conversations being had. Awareness growing.

It’s proof that small, consistent efforts create real impact.

Giving Back to the Industry

Community doesn’t stop at the salon door.

Through Booked & Busy Salon Consulting, I support apprentices and emerging stylists in building confidence, clarity, and strong foundations for their careers.

After 30 years behind the chair, I believe experience is something to be shared.

Helping the next generation of hairdressers grow, not just technically, but personally, is one of the most rewarding parts of my work today.

🎄 Annual Christmas Toy Run

Community spirit has been woven into this salon for many years.

Our Annual Christmas Toy Run, now entering its 14th year, supports local schools and charities, helping families during a time that can feel especially heavy.

Each year, our salon community comes together to donate toys, gifts, and essentials  turning hair appointments into opportunities to give.
